Donut muffins with cinnamon sugar

As insane as this may sound, these actually taste just like the little donut holes you can get at Dunkin Donuts. They are moist and rich tasting, with lot's of character rather than overly powerful flavour. It's hard to describe them, but I'm glad I picked up this little book of Cupcakes & Muffins, even if the only recipe I use is this one! 

I paid 3$ for it at Winners (it was in the checkout line - darned they know how to get me to spend just a little more money!)
