Online Grocery Circulars

It took me a while, but I am finally getting used to creating my grocery list online. At first I was really resistant to it, there was something 'romantic' about sitting down with a coffee with all the circulars from the grocery chains laid about the table. I would sit there for quite some time, circling all the items I wanted to pick up. Online, I couldn't add stars or add in my own comments, online, it's doodle-free.

These days, I love comparison shopping online, it is so much more efficient. Not only am I saving someone from having to deliver these flyers to my door but I am also not wasting any paper, I don't have to recycle it, and online, I can compare prices without having to remember what flyer I saw this or that in.

The sites over the years have become quite sophisticated, from the store website themselves, like Provigos online flyer to http://smartcanucks.ca/canadian-flyers that has an online version of most circulars in Canada! Right now, I mostly use the free version of SOS Cuisine which offers side-by-side price comparison at select grocery chains across Quebec.
